2023 Holiday Gift Guide

Updated: Jan 28

We present to you, for the first year ever, the Living Mostly Vintage Holiday Gift Guide! The selections on this list are treasures that have been created by stars, inspired by films, or even worn by characters. I hope you find this to be a fun and helpful guide as you look for something special for the classic film and television fan in your life!

Ann-Margret Eau de Parfum: In 1966, Ann-Margret received a petition containing over 3,000 signatures from troops stationed in Vietnam, asking her to perform for them. She responded immediately and traveled there with the USO. This past May, the legendary actress launched her first signature perfume and dedicated the project to all the soldiers and nurses who served during the Vietnam War. All profits go to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.

($100, 3.4 oz bottle)

Marlo Thomas Collection: Marlo Thomas of “That Girl” fame partnered with Williams Sonoma to create this classy tableware collection. Do you have a loved one who likes to entertain? Is your mom looking to design (or redesign!) her dining room? Pamper that special someone with these tasteful pieces, and bring a little bit of Ann Marie into your home! (Pieces range from $16.95 to $299.95)

Dewey Weber T-shirt: You may not be able to ride in the front seat of a Ford Coupe with John Milner, but you can still enjoy a ten cent coke with ice [price may vary] in this Dewey Weber T-shirt! Don’t forget to wear it backwards, just like Mackenzie Phillips did in American Graffiti. ($28.95)

Prints by Katie Anne Peters: Consider supporting small businesses this holiday season! I absolutely adore Katie’s artwork, and I wish I could purchase all of her prints and paper the walls of my home with them! These are perfect for the friend or family member who loves vintage fashion and old movies!

(Pro-tip: Katie has various art prints of outfits from White Christmas, It’s a Wonderful Life, and Christmas in Connecticut, which allows you to get away with having “Christmas decorations” throughout your house year-round 😉)

(Prints are $29.50 each, with originals ranging from $34.50 to $59.50)

Coffee by Breakfast at Dominique’s: These delicious coffees are inspired by icons of classic Hollywood. Coffees such as the Ava Gardner “Goddess” and Harold Lloyd “Boy’s Best Friend” blends are even the officially licensed signature blends for the actors’ respective estates. Great for anyone who loves to cozy up on the couch with a blanket and a warm mug in front of the television.

($16.50, 12 oz bag)
