I decided that in 2026, I'm going to implement a new weekly routine for myself: I’m going to cook a nice dinner, and settle in with a movie.
No, that doesn’t sound like anything super exciting or different. But my goal is to make it feel special, simply by being intentional about it. It's fun to casually pop on a movie, but it's also fun to make a night of it!
I haven’t decided on the menus yet, but here are the movies I already have lined up for the new year:
Father of the Bride (1950)
Ikiru (1952)
Pillow Talk (1959)
Good Morning (1959)
Move Over, Darling (1963)
Contempt (1963)
Pierrot Le Fou (1965)
I’m thinking of perhaps having themed menus, but I’m not sure yet what that’ll look like. Any ideas?
What's on your watchlist going into 2026?
